Get the kids out of the house and into the trees. Canopy’s Fall Day Camp is ropes courses, zip lines and teamwork in the fall woods of Midlothian, with just 10 campers a day. It runs 10 AM–2 PM for $90 per camper.

A summer camp rolled into one fall day
On Saturdays starting in October and on school-closed days, a small group of up to 10 campers takes on ropes courses and zip lines high in the trees, building teamwork, confidence and friendships.
Kids don’t grow by sitting still. They grow by doing. Balancing, climbing and solving problems as a team builds communication, trust and resilience, the kind of day that gets them off the couch and away from screens.

What is Fall Day Camp at Canopy Adventure Park?
Fall Day Camp is an outdoor adventure day camp for kids ages 10 and up at Canopy Adventure Park in Midlothian, Virginia, just outside Richmond. Campers spend 10 AM to 2 PM on ropes courses and zip lines with team challenges and games. It runs on Saturdays, starting in October, and on days when school is closed. It costs $90 per camper per day, and each day is limited to 10 campers.

What are the drop-off and pick-up times?
Drop-off is 9:45–10:00 AM. Pick-up is 2:00–2:15 PM.
Do campers bring their own lunch?
Yes. Campers bring their own lunch and snacks, plus closed-toe, closed-heel athletic shoes or boots, which are required.
What is the staff-to-camper ratio?
Our maximum ratio is 1 staff member for every 8 campers, with trained staff on the ground and in the trees.
How do I know if camp is happening on my date?
We need at least 5 registered campers to run a camp day, and we let families know 4 days before whether camp is on. Registering early helps your date go ahead.
Do I get a refund if camp doesn't run?
Yes. We always give a full refund for a camp day that doesn't run, including days canceled for sustained rain storms.
Does my child need ropes course experience?
No. Every camper gets safety training and practices with the equipment before going into the trees. Campers of average fitness and health can enjoy the program.
Is the camp safe?
Canopy was built and operates in accordance with ACCT standards. Our smart belay system makes it impossible, under normal use, to become unclipped, and trained staff are on the ground and in the trees.
What should my child wear?
Closed-toe, closed-heel athletic shoes or boots (no Keens), comfortable clothes that can get dirty, and layers for the weather.
